In regards to Natural Wine, Abruzzo in Central Italy is an area where more natural wine producers are starting out, but there are still not too many to choose from Notable natural wine producers in Abruzzo include Emidio Pepe, who is famous for pioneering the aging of Montepucliano d'Abruzzo, as well as more punky, vibrant and high acidity producer Lammidia.
Trebbiano and Pecorino are other grapes popular in the Abruzzo area.
