Susucaru is the entry-level wine from iconic Etna based low-intervention winemaker Frank Cornelissen.
It's mostly a field-blend made in a way that is bright, light and slightly tart with a red cherry, wet stone and earthy tone. Unlike Frank's more tannic cru wines, Susucaru has a 'mega-gluggable' profile that's difficult not to love on a summer afternoon.
This 2018 vintage is more easy going than the 2017, and lighter in alcohol too.
