Pet Nat Party!

€95,00€100,90

Price includes taxes, but not delivery

Summer time is PET NAT TIME! I mean... what better type of wine is there to drink with friends in the sun?

For those unaware, Pet-Nats are sparkling wines which are very popular in the natural wine scene, in which the final part of the fermentation takes place within the bottle.

They are then often 'disgorged' to remove yeasty sediment, but sometimes not. They have a very unique taste compared to Cremant or Prosecco wines.

We thought we'd put together a box for all you bubbly fans to have a proper pet-nat party with. Whether new to natural wines or very familiar with them - EVERYONE will love these six pet nats!

So what's in this wonderful box of fizz?

Korab - Lemonade

This Czech wine has a slightly creamy, lemonade-like feel (as the name suggests), alongside mild floral touches. It's not super bubbly, and as such, is quite soft on the mouthfeel. Lovely stuff!

Grapes: Welschriesling / Alcohol: 12,5%

Porta del Vento - Voria Rosso

This Sicilian wine has personal memories attached to it, as we discovered this winemaker on a fun night out in Palermo one warm February night not too long ago. Now we are happy to be bringing their fantastic fun, easy and highly drinkable pet-nats to you. This is the red version and it's super easy-drinking, a bit like a Lambrusco!

Grapes: Perricone / Alcohol: 12%

Schmelzer - Dion

This Austrian wine is so good for its price! You get baked pear, biscuit, elderflower and some mild aromatics. Pop this open on a hot afternoon and you’ll be in heaven.

Grapes: Welschriesling, Sämling / Alcohol: 11,5%

Meinklang - Foam Vulkan

OMG - we love this! So refreshing, so acidic, and a little sour too - in the best way possible! We got notes of zippy green apples, limes and pear - this is IDEAL FOR SUNNY AFTERNOONS if you crave fresh acidity in the heat!

Grapes: Harslevelu, Juhfark / Alcohol: 11,5%

Vin de Lagamba - Frauenpower

This is a super fun wine for a warm afternoon, perhaps nibbling on cheese and charcuterie. It actually tastes like a German Lambrusco! It’s essentially a fruity, light red with a rounded mouthfeel, yet minimal tannins. You'll get notes of blackcurrant, grape, cola, fizzy sweets and lime. Ideal to take to the park.

Grapes: Dornfelder, Sylvaner / Alcohol: 9,5%

Mirco Mariotti - Smarazen

This Italian pet-nat is nicely saline and simply put... VERY REFRESHING! It is crisp, but still has a slight twang from the aromatic Malvasia. Beautiful!

Grapes: Trebbiano, Malvasia / Alcohol: 12%

If ordered by 11am on Tuesday, we pick up the ordered wines on Wednesdays from our partners, and aim to dispatch the same day! If in Germany, you can expect your wines within 2-3 working days of his day. If elsewhere in Europe, expect up to 9 working days.
