GUY BRETON! 🥳

The legendary producer from “The Gang Of Four” (alongside fellow Beaujolais producers Marcel Lapierre, Jean-Paul Thévenet & Jean Foillard) who are so often referenced as reviving the older methods of making wine and influencing so many other winemakers to make authentic wine in a low-intervention wine.

P’tit Max 2018 is a Gamay sourced from Guy Breton’s 'Les Charmes’ vineyard in Morgon, featuring very old vines (some 100 years plus). The wine is elegant and soft in it’s tannic structure (more so than most other Morgon wines in our opinion), yet benefits from some air and is lighter than expected.

We suggest to decant for 2 hours (yes!) as this is a subtle wine, with an delicate, mild expression that requires time to find. Black cherry, vanilla and some herbs only then become noticed. It has a thinnish mouthfeel, ideal for afternoon sips.

DELIVERY

YES! We can deliver to you!

TIME AND AVAILABILITY

Our delivery is quite unique, as we work with our partner importers who supply us the wines to ship to you. This allows you to have much more choice than one shop in general, but the only thing we ask in return is a little patience in delivery and the understanding, that their might be the possibility that one of your wines could be unexpectedly out of stock.  and

If ordered by 11am on Tuesday, we pick up the ordered wines on Wednesdays from our partners, and aim to dispatch the same day! If in Germany, you can expect your wines within 2-3 working days of his day. If elsewhere in Europe, expect up to 9 working days.
