Humus “rosso” is an absolutely beautiful, more classic-styled Tuscan red, with no added sulphur.
Only 1350 bottles made.
Made from Sangiovese, a violet nose leads to a smooth rounded mouthfeel of red fruit and white pepper dancing with cardamon and some eucalyptus.
Armed with a surprisingly energetic mouthfeel plus a smooth finish this really hits the spot for long evenings in the shade, whilst mildly chewy tannins make it ideal for red meat dishes like lamb steaks or a beef stew.
Delicious for a classic (natural) Italian wine - highly recommended.
