This 2019 vintage is a totally different wine to the amber 2018 version. Personally, we feel it has less expression and needs the skin contact to shine best for the pricepoint. That's not to say this is a bad wine, it’s just not the same vibe at all from its production method (or results of it), so we are surprised it has the same name. Maybe it should be called a different country on the label to reflect this..
Still very easy drinking and pleasant, we just prefer the 2018 orange version ourselves.
2018 vintage: Considering the very fair price, this is excellent value for a lovely skin-contact wine. Well done Judith Beck!
It's actually more chuggable than most orange-wines, with lovely notes of green tea, candied orange, butterscotch, herbs and clementine.
Comes with a super easy mouthfeel, making it great for parties!
