This is the 2019 vintage, which features the (new) addition of Muskat with Weissburgunder and Scheurebe.
This 2019 Tasting notes:
Very different and bigger wine to previous vintage. This starts out fat, oily and a little woody and you wonder where she will go. She opens up properly after 15 minutes, and starts to give off more expression. Vanilla, elderflower, salt. Its more classic in style to his last vintage.
The 2018 Vintage tasting notes were:
Exceptional depth & aromatics featured here in this anniversary vintage of 'Himmel Auf Erden' Weiss. Perhaps more so than we expected for an Austrian white.
Christian Tschida really is a superb winemaker, and this entry level wine of his is just as remarkable as his more premium wines.
We got notes of honeymelon, elderflower, butter and quince.
It's lovely & smooth, with an almost creamy finish.
