Carl & Pauline Baumberger's approachable, easy-drinking and characterful wines which feature Riesling, Pinot Noir (known here in Germany as Spätburgunder) and other grapes which are featured in their popular Weiss blend. As young producers taking over this natural element of their parents winery, there have been ups and downs. When Pauline first started making wine, she was not accepted in the local Winzer community, due to being female. This is documented in a series profiling powerful women we highly recommend watching... and of course, boy where they wrong! The Glow Glow wines are becoming in hot demand across Europe and requests are coming in further afield. It's fair to say, Glow Glow has swiftly become one of the most sought after new-wave of German natural producers on the scene. We adore the Spätburgunder's touch of wood influence, which many natural winemakers tend to shy away from - but for us, the little touches are just perfect. Expect to see a lot more of Glow Glow across Europe in the next few years!
