Grenache Blanc
Grenache Blanc is a full-bodied, higher alcohol white grape native to northern Spain (and a mutation of red Grenache). Grenache Blanc is actually best known for its role in Southern French white wines. Straw-yellow in colour, it typically has flavours of green apple and stonefruit, but is very sensitive to terroir so can show a lot of variation
Grenache Blanc wines can be found to feature high alcohol and low acidity, which can make them seem "flabby", as a wine term.
